How to Get Your MagnaWave Machine Repaired

How to Get Your MagnaWave Machine Repaired

At MagnaWave, we offer the widest range of machines and attachments on the market and take pride in delivering affordability without compromising quality. Like any high-quality equipment, your machine may eventually require servicing or repair. Knowing the correct steps ensures you get your MagnaWave machine repaired and restored it to its optimal operating condition.

Understanding Your Warranty

Before jumping into the repair process, it’s essential to understand the warranty that comes with your MagnaWave machine. Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Three-Year Warranty: Your MagnaWave machine is warranted to operate correctly for three years from the date of purchase. If a malfunction occurs during this period, MagnaWave will repair or replace the unit at no cost to you, except for shipping.
  • Extended Warranty: After the initial three-year warranty, MagnaWave offers a 7-year extended warranty. We will repair your machine, but you are required to cover the costs of the repairs and shipping. This service ensures that your maximum out-of-pocket expense for repairs or maintenance is capped at $700 per year.
  • Coil Warranty: Coils are warranted against manufacturing defects for six months from the date of purchase.
  • Transferable Warranty: The warranty can be transferred for a $25 administrative fee.

Steps to Request a Repair

Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting your MagnaWave machine repaired:

1. Obtain Return Authorization Number

Before you send your machine in for repairs, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from us. You can request an RMA number by filling out a Machine RMA Repair Request. This form can be found on the Practitioner Portal (Certified Practitioners only) or by clicking the Support button in the footer of our website and then clicking Repair and Maintenance.

2. Complete $0 Invoice

After submitting your Machine RMA Request form, we ask you to complete a $0 invoice to save your credit card on file. The credit card will be used AFTER the equipment is repaired for return shipping fees and any applicable repair charges (if the repair is not covered by warranty, the unit is no longer under warranty, or the warranty has been voided). We will email you for approval on repair charges.

3. Check Your Email

Once submitted, we’ll send an email within 1-2 business days that includes your RMA number and an address with instructions on where to ship your machine. DO NOT ship your MagnaWave machine until you receive the RMA instructions email. If you do not see this email within 48 hours, please check your junk and spam folders.
Once you get your tracking number, send it to us at support@magnawavepemf.com so we can be on the lookout for your machine.

4. Prepare Your Machine for Shipping

Once you have submitted the Machine RMA Repair Request and received your RMA number, prepare your machine for shipping. We recommend keeping the box your machine came in for shipping, or the UPS Store offers a packaging service. Please ensure your machine is packaged securely to avoid any damage during transit.

5. Purchase Shipping Label

For your convenience, MagnaWave offers discounted shipping labels. Purchasing these labels through MagnaWave can save you money and ensure your machine is shipped safely. For assistance, contact support@magnawavepemf.com or call (502)742-7868. You may also purchase your shipping label through services like FedEx or the UPS Store.

6. Ship Your Machine

Ship your machine at the shipping center of your choice (we recommend UPS or FedEx for accurate tracking). The unit must be delivered postage paid with the current owner’s name and address, proof of purchase, and description of difficulties encountered. Send the unit to the address provided by MagnaWave in the email you received with your RMA number.

Once your equipment is received, work usually takes 10-12 business days to complete. We’ll let you know when your machine arrives.

7. Take the Survey

After we process your repair request, we ask you to complete a survey. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our repair system and ensure we continue to provide the best possible service to our customers.

Important Considerations

  • Loaner Machines: If you need a machine while yours is getting serviced, we can rent you one (if available) for $100 per week. The rental fee starts when the machine is shipped and ends when it is returned to our office. Loaner machines must be returned within 3 business days of the delivery of your machine.
  • Tampering and Damage: The warranty does not cover machines tampered with, modified, or damaged due to misuse, accidents, water, grit, impact, or lack of proper care.
  • Transfer of Ownership: If you are not the original owner of the machine, ensure that you have the proper documentation to transfer the warranty.
  • Communication: To facilitate a smooth repair process, clearly communicate any issues and the steps you’ve taken to the support team.
