SVM Equine Therapy / Rafter KG SVM Therapy is owned and operated but Sarah Van Metre. In 2011 Sarah attended the Helen J Wood course in Barrier, BC. The basis of the education obtained through this 6 month course was mainly learning, and working with, the structural alignment and physical manipulation of the equine and canine animals. She has since used her knowledge and skills obtained and has been able to provide animals with chiropractics and massage therapy for the past eight years.
Three years ago, in 2017, Sarah attended the Equitaping course in Olds, AB where she learned the practice of kinesiology muscle taping. Sarah has since used this in her daily practice. Equitape aids in supporting tendons and ligaments thus reducing inflammation in muscles and promoting faster recovery. In hopes at gaining a further knowledge and competencies within animal health, SVM Therapy is proud to announce its most recent addition to offered service, MagnaWave PEMF. MagnaWave works by creating a pulsed electromagnetic field through the body to improve cellular function and health at the molecular level. Without the use of drugs Magnawaving reduces inflammation, relieves pain, and improves the immune system naturally, without causing any adverse side effects. With the combination of all practices SVM Therapy is able to achieve treating animals at every level of the body, including the cellular level. Having the ability to provide animals with such deep relief ensures they are feeling their best and results in exceptional performance. It’s truly the most gratifying to have the opportunity to provide my clients, the animals, with these services and watch them excel at their disciplines. I thrive on building high capacity of trust with the animals and their owners, making them feel their most optimal. - Sarah Van Metre, SVM Equine/Canine/Bovine Therapy
