Karley Robertson I have grown up being around horses my whole life as my family breeds, trains and shows Clydesdale horses. I am an active member of the Clydesdale community, taking my turn at the Ontario Clydesdale Queen and Canadian Clydesdale queen in my teens. I have helped to fund raise for shows and event during my term as a director on the Ontario Clydesdale Club. I have also been very involved in the draft horse world helping other hitches at shows and traveling all across North America.
I became certified in 2013 from the renowned Helen Woods - HJW Equine Studies Equine Therapy Program in Barriere, BC. This program included learning anatomy, lameness, proper movement, horseshoeing, chiropractic, acupressure massage all with hands on experience. Horse chiropractic is the manual maneuvering of the vertebrae structure. Misalignment of the spinal vertebrae impinges upon the nerves and the pressure causes soreness to the muscles which affect movement and mobility. When movement between two vertebrae are restricted the horse does not have total flexibility of the spine. Stiffness and resistance to movement results in lowered performance.
I also provide Magna Wave PEMF Therapy on horses, dogs and humans. Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy pulses the body to stimulate cells and make them more permeable. This increases cell energy & oxygen levels and promotes healing while reducing pain/inflammation. The pulses are able to get deep into the body and all muscle groups get affected, more than what can be done with manual massage.
Chiropractic, acupressure and Magna Wave will make your horse feel great and preform at their highest ability!
